How to get here

Our farm is located in the mountains north of Cuenca – about a 30-40 min drive. See the zoomable map below.

For detailed driving directions from Cuenca click HERE (google map link). Follow this track to make sure you don’t get lost in small backroads where google maps or maps.me may lead you through.

We’ve also made a small video where you can see how the scenery looks like getting here, just to give you some more orientation:

Don’t have a car?

No problem. Take a bus or taxi to Chiquintad, a quaint little town about 20-30 mins from Cuenca. Once you arrive in Chiquintad, you can take a mixto taxi to the farm for $5. A city taxi ride will cost between $5 and $8. Or take bus #26 from Cuenca to Chiquintad, which passes right in front of both the airport and the bus terminal. The bus fare is 25 cents and takes about 20 to 30 minutes from the bus terminal. You can get on the bus downtown, but the easiest spot to catch the bus may be along Avenida Espana, in front of the airport or behind the bus station. Arriving in Chiquintad, watch for the big blue and white church on the left side of the road (see photo below). The bus stop is across from the church near the corner (there’s a schoolyard right by the bus stop as well).  This is where you will find the mixto taxis ($5 to the farm). They know where we live.
